Attention All Designers!
Malaysian Institute of Interior Designers (MIID), in collaboration with Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia (LAM), is currently carrying out a survey to reach out to experienced Interior Design practitioners across Malaysia for the proposed Special Pathway towards Interior Design Licensure initiative.
This initiative aims to provide an opportunity for experienced practitioners who have been actively contributing to the Interior Design industry to pursue formal professional registration through a specially structured pathway.
The survey is intended to help identify and gather potential eligible candidates, as well as to better understand the industry background and experience of practitioners who may benefit from this initiative.
We encourage all eligible practitioners to participate and assist us in extending this outreach to fellow Interior Design practioners within the industry.
This survey is intended for experienced Interior Design practitioners who meet the following criteria:
1. Diploma Holders
Applicants who graduated with a Diploma in Interior Design in 2017 or earlier and possess a minimum of 10 years of working experience in the Interior Design industry.
2. Degree Holders
Applicants who graduated with a Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture in 2017 or earlier and possess a minimum of 8 years of working experience in the Interior Design industry.
This survey is NOT applicable to:
3. Individuals who are already registered as Graduate Interior Designers (GID) with LAM, as they are already within the existing pathway towards licensure.
4. Graduates of Architecture programmes, as a separate pathway is available for those seeking registration as Interior Designers with LAM.
Don’t miss this opportunity!
Take the survey now and make your mark!
